California-Southern

I will! I understand why she forgets things and try to be patient, it's just when she says "How old are again?" every ten minutes. I don't really mind the spending the day in the same house, but when you are on a five-hour long journey to Northern Wisconsin in the same car? I get annoyed then. But I try! Plus my uncles live in a mini mansion on a lake and we have our own little bay area to fish in, so that should be lots of fun.

Try asking her questions about her youth and see if her distant memory is working . I always found it fun to listen to stories about my mothers youth. That is before she developed Alzheimer's. Then it became more difficult.

During the ride, maybe you could pretnd that you are asleep.

Jandrusrn--

I know this is my first post. I've been on this website for months researching and reading. I bought 10 chickens from a local breeder, straight run. It looks like 7 of them are roos :(

They are all 5 weeks old and I am looking to add to my flock so I have at least 10 eventually. I have a huge coop and enclosed run.

Where are you located?

I am in Central California on the Coast.

With appreciation,

karen borges
