Were you at the Fresno show?? I was there with a Madera friend at a table by the sales area.I have a couple of "chicken lovin" friends in Madera that come to Turlock to visit every couple of months & we go to Poultry shows together. We are having a "Chicken Party" here in Turlock on May 18th & some BYC members, friends & family will be here. You are welcomed to join us.
The Central Valley thread was started by a "chicken lovin" friend of mine & she is busy with her teenagers & animals so keeps pretty busy. She used to show Silkies but I think since has stopped showing & cut her flock down to a layer pen. I need to PM her & see how she's doing.
 
Wendy I also go North. LOL I've been to LA twice in my life and I've live in CA since I was 5. Grandbaby 29 is due, just to kind of show how long ago that was. But I started this thread, because I was hunting threads and posting and never got a reply, so I said heck with it. Plus although I think North more, I have gotten more birds from the South. Helps to know what everyone has all over. Then I desided to add things to page one and they made it so I couldn't edit, hense the CA pages. BTW guys, those pages could use some info, so please let me know if you need something added or there are some that you can add to yourself.

I still haven't added info to those pages about the party on May 18th at my house in Turlock but have been spreading the word through California Northern page, seeing people at the shows etc. @fortyfivefarm is going to make a page for more info & sign ups etc. We have speakers & demonstrations planned & a great free raffle tables & the donations for it are building too. We are going to have trades/sells/buys for hatching eggs and/or chicks etc...etc...etc.. I already have my order in from 2 different breeders that are coming. It promises to even be bigger & better than the last one here with a lot of returning guests.
 
Hello. I too am in central California...Visalia more specifically. Anyone else from around here? I'm looking for modern game bantams. I'm also wanting to sell some of my large fowl Phoenix and flytie birds. Any leads would be appreciated. Thx
