LOL I had my tree trimmed way back because the oranges would start and then not go anywhere. It should have been trimmed back probably a year or two before I even moved in, so although it's full and healthier, no fruit. The grapefruit tree produce great before I had it trimmed back, but has very few leaves so far and about 12 grapefruits on the whole tree. I'm gonna throw rabbit poop under them and see if that helps.
So, we're back. Those kids of mine and the grandkids and nieces and nephew of mine had too much fun. We definately added to the economy in Nevada. I hadn't slept when I got there and Sunny and Steve were waiting in the hotel when we got there. I dropped my purse off in my room and ran to meet them. Didn't go back to my room until after 2am! I was too exhausted to sleep. LOL I made it home much faster then I got there. I have issues with Donner Pass and I panic, so I drive slow through it. Weird how something can stay with you for decades. By the time we left it was getting dark and I'm so night blind I was a little paranoid that I was going to take forever. Instead I made it out just fine and actually had to check my speed a few times. Maybe I need to only drive to and from Reno in the dark. hehe
So far this morning I have returned the rental car, picked my car up from my machanic, been to the bank, went back and paid the machanic and now I'm trying to get the energy and take my baby back to the transmission shop and see if he can figure out how to add fluid to it. These cars have a permenent, sealed fluid pan that's never supposed to need filled and one of my seals that was leaking was transmission, so hopefully now, it CAN be filled somehow. My machanic is really good about not charging for unneccessary repairs, but if something needs done he definately lets me know it needs done like now. aI've taken this thing to his transmission guy and that's when HE explained how they work this thing, but my machanic sends anyone who's work he can do to him and he told me to take it back and tell him to try and fill it now. Soooo, more running. Plus when I was at the bank I had to get a temp atm card, since I left mine in a darn ATM. Same bank I lost the other one from, had a clear line at the atm and forgot to activate it. Luckily there's another one across from the next machanic, so I can do it. I need a nap!
