Ok I'm not a Californian but I need oranges. I am trying to find organic Valencia oranges sold by the bushel for my jam and jelly business. Please PM me if you know of anyone/farm that will ship these babies to me

So, we're back. Those kids of mine and the grandkids and nieces and nephew of mine had too much fun. We definately added to the economy in Nevada. I hadn't slept when I got there and Sunny and Steve were waiting in the hotel when we got there. I dropped my purse off in my room and ran to meet them. Didn't go back to my room until after 2am! I was too exhausted to sleep. LOL I made it home much faster then I got there. I have issues with Donner Pass and I panic, so I drive slow through it. Weird how something can stay with you for decades. By the time we left it was getting dark and I'm so night blind I was a little paranoid that I was going to take forever. Instead I made it out just fine and actually had to check my speed a few times. Maybe I need to only drive to and from Reno in the dark. hehe
So far this morning I have returned the rental car, picked my car up from my machanic, been to the bank, went back and paid the machanic and now I'm trying to get the energy and take my baby back to the transmission shop and see if he can figure out how to add fluid to it. These cars have a permenent, sealed fluid pan that's never supposed to need filled and one of my seals that was leaking was transmission, so hopefully now, it CAN be filled somehow. My machanic is really good about not charging for unneccessary repairs, but if something needs done he definately lets me know it needs done like now. aI've taken this thing to his transmission guy and that's when HE explained how they work this thing, but my machanic sends anyone who's work he can do to him and he told me to take it back and tell him to try and fill it now. Soooo, more running. Plus when I was at the bank I had to get a temp atm card, since I left mine in a darn ATM. Same bank I lost the other one from, had a clear line at the atm and forgot to activate it. Luckily there's another one across from the next machanic, so I can do it. I need a nap!

Haven't had much luck moving any birds with the Egg Train the last couple of month, but I'm going to revamp and see what I can do about making improvements and hopefully getting more people who signed up involved.
In the meantime...........hehe I was wondering if anyone is coming up to the Stockton show from Southern Cal. I'd like to get transport for a few birds.
Took off for a 45 minute drive and took hours, literally to plug along and wait for my computer to clear and then plug along again. Went to leave a message for my mechanic to check it out next week and forgot his cell os his work phone. Poor guy must have thought I was nuts. He's sending me to a different transmission guy, cause he can't understand why the one he usually send everyone to says my tranny seems fine. One fof the valves he replaced was for my transmission and he said to get it to the other guy quick, well he's closed till next week and I figured I'd be good. NOT! I looked online for prices of replacement. OOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUCCCCHHHH! I'm always threatening to do it, but seriously would make a cool lawn ornament/flower pot. Almost not kidding!
OK I need sleep.

Wish I could help you out more but in the summer near here (Santa Paula thereabouts) there are many many Valencia oranges for sale, and some of the best that I have had. I don't know the farmers or if they ship across the country though

The coop idea might work. If they can't fix what's wrong, I got 2 quotes on a new transmission. Both over 7k! I could buy another car, and will with that much. I just want this one finished and then I'm looking for something that I can drive to death without crying over it.
So today is Makayla's 6th birthday. She's sick as a dog and throwing up all over. She was with my daughter last night and today and just got home at about 4:30, at which time I finally got out of bed! Pumping in the caffine right now to be able to go take care of animals since I didn't even go back there yesterday. I did toss corn on the cob to the birds who free range, but I bet they're all starving right now.
Next week I start putting up the hoop coops. Then I can set up the peach bin coops for Games, bantans and btrrding pens. I miss organization in my life. I figure if I get things set up the way I want and easier to use, it will be easier to move it all if I miraculously find a place to move. I need space! I want to have all my things home instead of paying for storage to visit them.
Ya know, I always like the coops made from cars and buses. I even want to build a container house for me. I might have to come up with some out of the box living ideas this next year.
