So sorry about your tragedy. I don't know about the laws in Ripon. It's a nice place to live!

Every time they till the fields here all the rodents move into my place, so I have to keep on top of it. What I have learned through the years is this: If you see evidence of mice, you probably don't have a rat infestation. If you don't see mice, you have a lot of rats. Rats love to eat mice. Here is my rat control......that is a rat in her mouth, this Shamo hen is 9 lbs and tall.

I'm taking a break from hatching for 6 months....or at least that's the plan (I need to slow down and concentrate of improving my health)

I'm looking for trustworthy, honest hatchers/breeders that would be interested in hatching and raising some of the birds I breed. There will be an agreement to split the birds once they can be determined for quality.

Is anyone interested or know of someone that would like to partner in this way?

I'm looking for experienced hatchers, people that are passionate about improving the breeds I have and have a strong sense of integrity.

And of course love having FUN!

WOW I came in with good news and everyone is falling apart. Sorry about the family stuff and the move Liz. Cheryl, I hope you find lots of help. Maybe I should look for one more spot out back for Tolbunts. LOL

I do have a really small Lav Marans project though.

OK, so I can in to say that something is terrible wrong. I've had 2 100% hatches in a week. Maybe I have my moojoo back. Got a 2nd Mottled Jap hatched today and it's so funny to watch it get from one side of the tub to the other. Those tiny little legs make it look like it's scooting across the bedding. I love those little guys!

Next hatch is due monday. Hope this keeps up.

OK, I finally added the petshop to the CA page. I made s section for them is they sell chicks or chicken supplies, so if anyone else has one I'll do that as they come in.

I need some help with a new section from everyone. I'm adding feed stores. They will be at the bottom of the list, just below the petshop section which is below the breeders section. If you can all give me feed store info, that would be a big help. I'm going to list them by areas or regions, so please add the area it needs to be added to. There are always so many people that are starting out and want to know where to go for supplies, I thought this would be a big help for them. I need to get the detailed info on the one's I have listed so far.

I know I'm behind on this page, so please point out what's not there or if something should be removed. Remember we have a section for things like fairs and art and wine festivals too. They may not all of chickens, but they are fun for a family outing, so I want people to know what's going on and where.

I keep having problems with that page. I did have you on it and it took you off. I fought with that thing the first couple of days to get the info on there. So you are back on the members list. Your breeder info was there. I added the part about the EE chicks for you though.
