Had a pretty bad prolapse on my call duck hen this morning. I was able to push everything back in, and I have her isolated inside with her sister to keep her away from the drake. She was laying eggs last week but stopped laying within the past few days, and I didn’t feel an egg in her when she was prolapsed.
This is my first time ever dealing with prolapse, so I’m just crossing my fingers that it stays in after she poops. I’ve already cleaned the area but I’m not sure if a warm bath/applying some raw honey or vaseline to the area would help if it stays in or if that wouldn’t be necessary. Any advice from anyone who’s dealt with this before would be really appreciated.
