I'm so sorry for you both. Soo sad. I had 9 of mine that quit today. I'm just not sure what's going here. The others are gorgeous but it's definitely heartbreaking. This batch is definitely a Lori batch but will save the good news and pictures for a better time
Peachncrm37 I had another black one that hatched out tonight. Not sure yet if it's a black bibbed or a magpie type but since I already have 3 we can work out something if you're interested. That way your little one won't be alone

Thank you yes I'm definitely interested. I need something to help out this bad day.
Thank you I appreciate it. I just can't get it through my head. I feel so bad for them, I can't blame the dog it's in his nature he's a husky.
I don't know. It just really sucks.
And very sorry you had so many quit. Lori and I were talking about that today too. There's got to be something we're missing or maybe doing wrong.
I need mine to start laying so I can figure out if its me/my incubator, or shipping that's doing it.
No problem. When he dries I will send you a picture so you can be sure. I know it's a dog's nature but it doesn't make it SUCK any less.
I can't imagine that it's anything any of us are doing or that it's our incubators being that we're all getting the same results. May very well be just "natural selection".
Next spring we should be able to help each other out with our blue lines *wink wink.... and Lori will finally get her blue also. I can't wait to see how these little guys turn out once they dry off and fluff up. How's your little one doing? Has he hatched yet? Do you know what color?
He's got a couple more hours (I've been helping him just to make sure) hes got one vein left to absorb. I am excited to see the color. I can see both dark and light on him and I can see his foot and its got yellow and dark on it too. I can't wait I have no idea what he could possibly be color wise!!
Yes definitely we'll help each other out, I want more eggs from Lori in spring after I get back from IL. Plus ill probably want To buy any extras your selling PLUS I am hopefully getting that magpie and blue fawn pair too. I told him no rush on pictures since he can't ship until after this week but I'm still excited to see pictures!!!
I'm sure ill want the little guy no matter his colorsthis one needs a friend so that's more important than what I need

Awww. I love the splotchy feet. My blacks from the first batch have that too. I am going to Plant City on Sunday and will be taking 528 over if you want to meet at I95 and 524 or something to pick up the little one. What about your Ancona? Is he going to have a buddy? Not sure how big he is right now but would be willing to sell one of the older white calls to you if you think they would be comparable in size. It would work for a bit until the Ancona got too big and then you'd have to put the white guy with the other calls. Up to you. Just let me know.
