Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Alright right, so you don't want to play with me grrrrrrr here it goes, call ducks for some reason I have excellent hatching rate if the eggs are laying down, well laying them down means I have to get my lazy butt up three times a day and turn them yek. Why do this when you have a turner, what a waste right. Lol well not quite check out what I did so I don't have to turn them lol

That's right they are still laying down, but I had to invent some way to keep them on the turner, well I tried wrapping string that did not work out to well, so I took a piece of my shipping tape, which is really thick and wrapped a thin piece all around then egg so that is won't fall off the turner, so far it's working,,,, plus it keeps my hands off the egg from candling it or bothering and allow it to cook.

Now I was able to candle I took my phone that has this app called flash light put it on the big end and boom, I could see the spider veins, here I'll show you lol

The dark spot towards the left is the moving entropy you can also see his veins, lol so it's working, who hooooooooo..

Ok not sure why my iPad spelt embryo as entropy lol but it's just as dumb as my mastiff. HAHAHAHA

You should be able to see the thin piece of tape that I have wrapped around the egg... I don't think scotch tape will work, I'm afraid it may not stick properly, this tape that I'm using is kind of like see threw duck tape much thicker then scotch tape, don't want to use regular grey duck tape then you may not be able to see progress when candling. So tell me what you think lol..

Since you hurt my feelings and didn't want to play with me....

Of course come four days before lock down the tape comes off, no more turner... Only have 21 more days left for this little guys hatching day...

Before I went to bed I checked on the duckies and they were both fine, I kept getting up to check on them too. But at 1:30 in the morning when I checked them the little guy that pipped out the wrong end was gone
I don't know why. Every time I checked him he was okay, but I guess he wasn't because he died.
the second little guy is okay but now I'm paranoid, he's quite a few hours behind the first one. I hope he's okay. He's all fluffy and cute and seems fine, but so did the other one.
It's going to be a long night.....

Very neat. They don't seem bothered by the tape thus far. Can't wait to see what the end results will be. Great experiment!

I think I'm going to put together one of those auto rollers for the eggs to turn them 180 degrees every 8 hrs. I love experimenting but it also gives me anxiety lol
