Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Love all the cute duckling pics! Hope everyone had a good easter. I have been super busy the last few days, hubby brought me goats!

. They were a total surprise and i know nothing about goats so spent the weekend learning about them, lol. And my next couple duck eggs have pipped, even more babies on the way. Plus im raising a couple baby squirrels, I am ready for a break!

I was going to say, Your ducks are kind of OVER sized and I have never seen ears on one. LOL

Sorry but another question. I have one egg that internally pipped at least 24 hours ago. I am wondering if it would be ok to use a little lancett, like the ones diabetics use to get the little drop of blood with to male a little safe hole?

???? Not sure what you mean here? Are you talking about taken one of those diabetic needle to make a safe hole?? The ones to take a finger prick?? If so, I don't see why not...

I think I have my hardest hatching EVER, I have been walking someone who is in UK, she has an upside downer. he's already made his crack been cracked for over 24 hours. Today we are going to try to get him out. It's hard because the time is so different and responses are slow.


HAY PEACH, HOW's my MAGPIE? Are you taking care of him? GUess what, it's day TWO and I have LIFE in TWO OF YOUR EGGS AREADY. LOL

Also TONIGHT, my experiment egg goes into lockdown.. STILL alive, not as active though so I may have an issue but will see.

Tammy's 14 eggs go in tonight. and I am fullllll. I have two bators full and I will have to get the third one out..

Lol yes I had a lady call yesterday and wanted to come out and buy 4. I had 3 from Tammy that looked like that, and I wanted to keep the really light one for sure. Her daughter really liked the darker two, so I let her pick one to take.

I have the other 5 eggs from Tammy so I'm sure ill have more just like it, plus not like she isn't right down the road

LOL. I'm curious to see how they all feather out as I don't have magpies!!!

Just remember that the 14 eggs I sent aren't from my own ducks and were piggy backed shipped so they may not do well. Fingers crossed that they do though!!

I am too. The one I still have has even less color on it, but I think you are probably right. It should show when it feathers out. This one is blue though, the other one was black? I really wanted to keep it, but little kids are my other weakness. I mean how could I say no??!
