Call Ducks Finally Hatched

They're adorable. Congrats. They all look to be snowys. Wouldn't give a final answer on sex until they were in full plumage but I would guess 5 drakes and 1 hen. The males will all get a iridescent green head and the hen's head will stay that apricot color. Best part about snowys is that they're all different, different spots of different colors in different places.

Thanks! I was afraid that I only had one hen. How well will multiple drakes behave around each other? Anyone wanna trade for hens!?

My drakes all do fine with each other for the most part but too many drakes to too few hens will cause a lot of problems for her. 5 to 1 I would imagine would probably kill her once they reach sexual maturity

HI!! I've been around a bit. After breaking my leg and ankle I wasn't around much, was hard to sit at the computer.
Started incubating again about a month ago! Yay!

Oh no!!! Sorry to hear that! hope you're healing well.

Needless to say my first set of call duck hatching eggs from Lori led to a full fledged addiction. I now have roughly 20 adult breeders as well as around 20 ducklings that I'm growing out. Plus at least 30 eggs in the bator. LOL.

Haha yes she does!!! I definitely didn't plan on building an extra coop just to house my Anconas since my calls have taken over their pen!!

In the past two weeks my Anconas AND bob whites have both started laying. So I am incubating all their eggs, very excited to have my very own babies from them!
