Call Ducks Finally Hatched

So I have these options with trouble from what I'm reading it appears from time to time that pure breeds will occasional get slipped tendon. That's good to know I guess it was my time lol

Maybe that's because all purebred animals are essentially inbred? :/

And I know about the leg thing...I had one heck of a time catching a lame duck to bring into the rehabilitation center 'cuz even though the poor thing couldn't walk, she sure could fly!

Well i know their pure calls since is shows them and thats the only ducks he owns

Does he have any photos? I've heard horror stories from buyers on places like efowl.com where the images were doctored or stolen from google just to sell eggs, and wound up with a completely different species, let alone breed, they paid for!

If you have the option to visit your breeder's place, DO IT. Dan Jerome's home, Three Roses Farm, told me everything I needed to know in a single glance: He kept his awards on his wall, his coops were immaculate and all of his lil' cotton-white cuties were simply the tiniest things you ever saw!

How many days are they overdue, again? If you think they're truly stuck, the one with absorbed veins may be ready to come out. Lacry, what do you think? When I got Wobbles' sibling out he was ready to goo but was just sort of in an odd position and needed to be busted out.

Also, for the absorbed veins one, has it internally pipped? Last we chatted you said they hadn't, so the safe hole won't do too much good if the internal membrane is intact.

If they're moving less and less, it seems like things are getting critical. Do you have a strong flashlight? Are you able to peer into the safe holes and see if the internal membrane is still red or veiny?
I do have a strong flashlight but could only look in the one with the dried veins and his internal membrane had absorbed the veins on top.

Great news!!!! 2 eggs have totally absorbed veins but have not internally pipped yet. Sideways egg had movement but still had all veins.

What to do, what to do...... SOOO worried. Because both have absorbed veins that means they are still alive right????

Still no internal pip?? Yeesh, those guys are really taking their sweet time....dang it, I wish Lacry were on. When mine internally pipped they still had veins to absorb, that's why it took 'em another 48 hours until they were ready to be helped out of their shell. Do you think it's prudent to try and poke a hole in the membrane, just in case? Again, I want Lacry to weigh in on this. If you think they truly are sticky chicks then they might not be able to turn their heads enough to do it themselves.
