Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Truthfully if I would take off any more I may not have a job. I take once a week off to ride my horse. And I am taking off for two weeks like I said. I don't have an actual amount of sick days I just have to ask but I don't know how much more I can ask.....

I can have my mom drive over and spray them down. I am going on vacation for two weeks in a few weeks and I had a meeting and had a lot of work to do. I will have my mom spray him. Maybe I can convince her to spray him twice? My mom is a bit squeamish but I am sure she would do it.

EVERY Four hours would be good.

His yolk sac had that goo on it and then dried and is like gooey and hard and it is really holding him in. It is very evident. He was kicking his little leg but the stiff held him down. His head was also stuck ion the yolk goo but I was able to clean his head up. I was worried about taking any of the yolk goo out incase it broke. I now think I should have just taken off....

It will need to come off adventurally but NOT UNTIL you can take your time to do soo. Have your mom spray him, got to be warm water though

Do you think there is still a chance that he will hatch all right. I was cleaning his goop off his nose and he was trying to bite my q-tip and it was SOOOO cute. I really just don't want to lose this guy. Asking if I can go home early now.

Well then I guess we will have to work with him. A good spray every four hours with Warm water should help loosen up that gooy stuff. When you get home, IMMEDIATELY grab that cup of warm water and qtip get him cleaned, clear out that gooy stuff. he won't be able to absorb correctly until we remove it. BUT you have to take your time, cant rush it ...

Can my mom just wet the membrane and clean him up? She has the flu and that it why she is available and my mister sprayer thing is outside like a quarter mile walk and I don't want her to have to do that......

OMG, HE"S SOOOO DETERMINE, GOOD LITTLE FELLOW. He can hatch out OK as long as we can get that gooy stuff from drying up, what it will do is get hard like a rock. I guess the best way to describe it, is SUPER GLUE. if you every PUT super glue on your fingers you get this crusty skin like substance on your fingers, takes days to get off, well that's his position. WE CAN"T LET THAT HAPPEN..Keeping it wet will keep it loosen up. SO SPRAY AWAY
