Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Aww, keeshonds are such great little dogs! I was lucky, I found a vet that was willing to come to my house to do it so Maggie wasn't freaked out or anything. Her tail was wagging weakly even as the injection was given. I know I should be sad, but I'm just happy I was able to share my life with such a great dog. I bet you and Clousert feel the same about your awesome pooches, too. <3

As for incubating, I'm starting to lose hope of getting Wobs his female companion! @18angovem , I'm hoping that breeder friend of yours pulls through, but it won't be until later in the spring and I'm not too sure he understands what it is I need, even after our 1/2 hour conversation...hehe, old boy southern types sure do ramble a lot. He reminds me of my MIL.
We showed Keeshonds, we had 5 Championships. I like how they Blow coat instead of what normal dogs do. I showed my keeshond Chrissy, I got her points at Making her a Championship. they only need 15 points if I recall. It's been a while since, I was the ONLY she would allow to show, My sister tried and was kicked out of the ring because Chrissy would growl at the judge. LOL, she only like me showing her.. LOL So I got stuck with that job.. LOL

OK back to the call ducks. LOL

Hehe, no kidding...I originally wanted to show Wobbles, but the poor thing would shiver with fear in noisy crowds, and he lunges at strangers! So...yep, no showing for this lil' dude.

I wonder why both yours and Angovem's birds are laying so early?

Young ones will do that, they don't quite have it together, I guess you can say. Last year when I lost my flock and all the BYC members stepped up the plate and sent me eggs, are now growed up and apparently they said they are ready to start this process. Plus heating Lamps will throw off there schedule but with our weather, we need some sort of heat for them. I'm in Ohio and He's in Pa so his weather is very similar to mine if not worst. LOL

I live between the to snowiest cities in the U.S. I live 45 minutes from buffalo (the people who got like 6 feet of snow) and erie (who was the snowiest city in the us last year) I get a mix between those two. I have two feet of snow on the ground right now so that is why my dog can just the fences. The fence is almost eye level now that the snow is so tall!!!!

OK GUYS, I am going to pick up a pair of call ducks this Saturday, Check them out, what do you think: It's going to be a Grey hen and a Snowy Drake...
