Thanks. I think I made some good choices last year . I don't know that I'll be hatching too many this year with the move coming up. I'm hoping to get some ancona colored babies from Alison and I have a friend here that wants a couple ducklings but other than that I'm just going to swap and sell any eggs I get. There's never a shortage on eggs with the group I have now

Thanks. I have several pieds but she's the first fawn and white that I've hatched from the bunch. I have 2 buff hens so I'm assuming that's where she came from

Hi... was just talking about you Your girlie is beautiful too. There's no recognized lavender or silver color of calls, or ancona for that matter here in the US. I've heard the color called both and whatever it is I love it lol. Yes, I kept 1 chocolatey colored drake.

And 1 pastel drake

All of my calls run together. I'm assuming that she came from 1 of my buff hens and blue pied drakes. I really don't know for sure though

Just different colors of calls

Ancona and penciled are not recognized colors of calls for showing but are out there. Here's is an ancona colored call that I found online. White with spots like a dalmatian

And here is my penciled pied male. Penciled refers to the lacing in his feathers.

The ancona could be any color. White duck with colored spots (black, chocolate, lavender), just like the ancona breed.
