I would strongly Suggest to EVERYONE to keep the ducks separated from chickens. It's not ideal to try and hatch them all together. If you lockdown the chickens but you still have another week or more for the ducks, you can cause them to get sticky inside making it hard for them to get out and can cause death..
I have seen a lot of people hatch chickens with ducks an personally I would not advise it, the only time I would advise it is if you have a second incubator that you can use that for Lockdowns..
OK remember this date November 6th, this is the day that my momma ducks babies should hatch..
HUM, if you try to hatch the one in 12 days it could cause the others to get sticky. any why do you just have one? you should know they don't like to be alone...They are all call duck eggs. Just different batches so have 1 due in 12 days (going into lock down in 8 days) and the others not due for another 21 days. I can use a 2nd incubator if need be but thought I would get your opinion on hatching in the same incubator.
