No you can't help them go broody, ducks are seasonal and when it's time it's time. However, I have noticed with my girls, they will act completely normal and lay eggs, they usually laid eggs in the same spot, once they collected enough eggs, BOOM they will decide to sit. Now first timers usually don't get this so they may not sit the first time around.. May take them to spring, but once they do lay, they find the darnest places.. LOLOkay unrelated question. My friend in IL has pekin ducks. They are laying eggs but the ducks aren't going broody. Is this normal and is there anything she can do to help them go broody?
