AWEE A Halloween babie, LOL... Call him Jason. LOL Or Mike Myers, LOLOh my.... I just looked at the calendar and my single baby is due to hatch on Halloween lol
Hows the little guy DOING??Okay awesome. He's moving a bit but not a lot. I will check back in, I have a 1 year old so if I forget she'll remind me, LOL. Thanks for all the help!
That's good, he should be drying up and shrinking. You need to take the qtip with warm water and rub it on the edge of the shell, you don't want that shell to stick to him, If it's not touching him at all then just let him be Do not put in down into the bottom of the shell, this will cause him to get an infection, just the very edge of the shell so that it's not glued to his body stopping him from trying to move out.Wake up call a few minutes late. He's not out. Looks the same except he's more active now!
Ok First how are the veins looking? Are they still red? if so, I would not mess with him, If the blood is almost gone or if they are semi clear, then go ahead and take the qtip Wet of course, and start at the pink thing and gently rub downwards. Keep doing this until it is away from him and you should see just the clear veins attached to him, don't try to break them, if they are full of blood don't mess with him just leave him be and give him until in the morning.. But if you can try to check on him every four hours or sooner or if it looks like that shell is going to stick to him.Okay he's not stuck to the shell but that pink part in the picture is still attached (to the air sac). Do I need to wet that to separate or just let him do his thing?
No problem, you really don't want to mess with him when those veins are red but does it look like the snot ball is blocking everything? I mean does it look like his not able to absorb the blood because of it? if not then just let him go, if so then just rub it down with the qtip just a little then do some more in about 4 fours or so..don't rush or try to do all of it in one shot..The veins are still red. He doesn't seem to be in danger of sticking to the shell just that pink part is still at this point. I'll leave him alone for now. My little one wakes me up throughout the night so I'll keep checking on him. Will update again in the morning. Thanks again for your help!
