yay. Oh gosh. OK. That's all interesting to me. Please keep us posted. I SO hope all works out. They just got here an hour ago! <3 They're setting right now, hopefully their air cells reattach. I'll probably end up keeping them in the egg carton for the first few days of incubation just to be on the safe side. None of them have rolling air cells thank goodness, but one or two of them are really wonky.
heeaaaahh to Amykins.Hey lacrystol, I managed to safely ship 6 duck eggs!!!! They all made their trip to Washington!
oh no. Someone's pet escaped. I'd die.Quote:
That's what I always wonder........ So guess what I saw last weekend while kayaking???? A call duck!! On the river. It was great quality but was standing next to a mallard and was soo much smaller.... It was a black bibbed. I thought about trying to catch it but it flew away.....

I hope so too. Heartbreaking when your pet bird gets out. Shudder…..Oh wow, I actually saw something similar last summer. It looked like a mallard, but it was black bibbed. It was too far away to catch, but I wondered if it belonged to someone and it just found its way into a wild flock. I haven't seen it since. :/ I hope it's okay, wherever it is...
