Call Ducks Finally Hatched

I looked again and some may have survived. I have to get a new light. My old one keeps going dim. It just might be eggs that I set in a certain time frame. I can hope.

Wow, so sorry to hear that! 97 wouldn't seem like it would have hurt them that bad for a few hours?? And pipping already, but not due till the 21st? 5 days early?? Hmmmm... I'm sorry, but are you sure all your dates are right???? Grasping at straws...

They all seem to be coming early. But they come out running. Maybe time for a new temp gauge or a math course for the ducks. Thanks for the help

hum... I was panicking. I set them on the 21, they are due on the 18th. ha ha. Math course for me!

I will open another clear one and see if the lost ones seem to have a similar cause.

That's more like it! lol

I had about lost hope on a couple of mine, until I replaced my flashlight batteries. What a difference a fresh set makes. Batteries are one of my biggest pet-peeves. Why are they so expensive, yet wear out so quickly?

I hate opening them as well, but its best to know "why" for future endeavors. Good luck sweetie.

The duck inside the egg, has basically taken over the whole of the egg, I saw it moving its beak towards the air sac, it's on day 22 going into lockdown on Sunday, by th looks of it, I think it might hatch early !!

If it's a call duck egg on day 22 it should be going into lock down tomorrow as they hatch on day 26

The big incubator went down to 97, and the little one held at 99.

That's really not cold enough to kill them. I thought we were talking like 30s or 40s.

ALRIGHT, keep an eye on the Air cell, if it starts dipping then you can lock them down.

I do not believe it's calls.
