Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Egg one you can see the beak, so that's easy. Other two could be, but I'd have to see more pictures to be sure.
Egg two has holes in the top, so I'm guessing you made the holes for it and you would only do that if it was pipped, right?

Your gonna be surprise with my answer!!

Well?

Egg number one never internally pipped, he couldn't break through his membrane. About 4 or 5 in the morning he wasn't moving when I opened him up he was already gone.

Egg number two and three have and are internally and externally.

The tiny holes that you see Kathy was made 11 days before there 28th hatching day but of course I was not aware of the 28 day thing so technical those holes were made 9 days before the 26th day of hatching for calls. I had put them there to get them to lose weight because I know I was going to have a sticky issue on my hands because of my humidity going hay wires. And it actually worked.

Now the reason you Can't see two or threes bill is because both of them are upside down. And you all should know. I LOVE UPSIDE DOWNERS.

Awe, poor baby one :( I knew egg one looked too obvious for that to be the right one! How are babies two and three doing now?

Day 21, moved my little babies out of the auto turner onto screen. Tomorrow will start lockdown day. Adjusted the temp down a tiny bit to keep temp at 99.5, has been creeping up lately with the outside temperature going up. Hopefully the reduced humidity we're trying thanks to all the new info on backyard chicken, hopefully this hatch will be a big improvement over the dozens of poor ducklings i drowned in the shell :( by having to high humidity last year and earlier this year.

You still have one more day before taken them off the turner. Tomorrow is to early to lock them down.

Well my two babies made it out safely and are running around like crazy. And when I say my two babies. I mean two eggs that came from my flock they hatched out two days ago yes on day 26 not 28. Lol. the egg pics from earlier are eggs I ordered. I had those plus three of my own In there. The third egg from my hens is pushing on his membrane just no pipping yet. I had put him In at a later time.

So I guess I can say even though my ordered eggs was a disaster, my own eggs are a success. Guess that tells me to never order eggs again. to stick with my own flock.

Happy for you that your own eggs hatched, sorry the shipped ones didn't make it.
It sucks, because I thought maybe I could get replacement eggs or try again perhaps at a discount or something. NO deal, they wanted me to repurchase more at regular price. WOW, so I'm out of the money there. I don't know how people sleep at night...
