Call Ducks Finally Hatched

this is blue also. Blue varies in shade a lot. This is why it's not good to breed blue and lavender together as the chick's are hard to tell apart. Blue chick's can vary from very light blue to almost black.
this chick looks lavender. Lavender to me always looks grey as chicks with a yellow base color underneath. Now it's a matter of letting it grow and see what it turns into.
OK, I think I'm all done and know where to start, THANK YOU minihorse927, Now for me to get to work. LOL

your hens that you started with, did any of them come from a flock that carries lavender?
Nope, he was my first Lavender, then I got the two hen splashes, then I hatched out that Blue Rooster but he ended up passing away because every year he would have respiratory problems, did since day one and it just basically caught up to him. Then I hatched out the black rooster with some black hens, this batch was BBS, but i didn't get any splashs from that order.. Just all blacks hatched out.. So from that, I combine them with my splash and lavender and that's where we are to day. No one is related except the two splash hens. Here's one of them they both definitely look the same..

Once I add more lavenders to this coop the plan is to work on the Splashes. I would like to see more splash in this coop since right now, it's got enough blacks..I have more blacks then I really want, I only wanted two or three and I have WAY more then that..
