The only thing that concerns me is that flooring, looks like slippery plastic. It's going to be hard for him to get strength in those little legs.

With a slippery flooring and flat feet, He may not be able to get the right kind of traction to get up. I would put some paper towels under him or a sock or a shirt something so that he can get traction..

Here's the other two. Ignore the button eggs, they started hatching out in the coop and the male was killing them, had to move them inside, ugh.

I would leave them alone, they have really good cracks and they should make it out by themselves, as long as they can breath. they should be OK..

LOL, ok but quails don't have flat flappy feet. they have claws sort of speaking, they can take there toes and grip the holes and pull themselves up, Ducks can not there toes are all connected.. so they slide, Remember two totally different types of breeds here..

Bibbed, is the Color of a duck, white chest and black bodies..

HUM, if you try to hatch the one in 12 days it could cause the others to get sticky.  any why do you just have one?  you should know they don't like to be alone...

You could just raise it up to about 50 or 55 for lockdown on the one, you may have to help him out but of course, i'm hear for you for that, and the others will be OK..

I know they don't like to be alone and I hate that she will be for a few days before the others hatch. I had 18 eggs shipped from SC to FL but only 1 developed and then quit on day 11. Had my parents pick up another 7 eggs from the same breeder in SC and drive them down here to FL on their way down from NC. Again only 1 developed. So far she's still doing well and is very active so I'm hoping she will continue. I then thought I would try eggs from another breeder since I wasn't having any luck with the previous one. I got 24 eggs shipped from NY or NJ (cant remember off the top of my head) to FL and 17 are developing. I can't give up on the single gal just because she's single. I will give her her own stuffed animals and spend extra time with her until the others hatch. They are 9 days behind her

Aweee, yep a stuffed animal will be just fine for a while. poor little thing... lol

Ohhhh. Good point. I use the liner for the bottom of kitchen drawers for the brooder, will that work?

And yes he's bibbed any guess at his breed???

YES, THAT IS PERFECT.. THE KITCHEN LINER, your talking about that thick sticky like stuff right not the smooth wall paper type of material..
