Haha I'm going to bed, will update in the morning. Btw the one that externally pipped is not the one in the picture. So I'll be making safe holes in the other 3 in the morning if nothing happens. If they all externally pipped then next batch Im not touching them AT ALL and I WON'T freak out. Lol night all!!!

Hey is pine bedding okay for the older ducklings? I'm moving them outside tomorrow.

I use fine pine, I have it for my little ones and big ones, doesn't seem to be bothering anyone..

The first I'm glad I did because I had to WORK at it to get through, second ones shell was easier.

I didn't safe hole the 3rd one because I couldn't tell if it had internally pipped. Hoping the others will get to hopping around and he'll come out too. I just don't want any to suffocate!!!

Three that had internally pipped yes. The 4th probably had too but I couldn't tell for sure so I didn't do a safe hole.

I will check again when I get home if none have progressed and will safe hole it then, it was moving really good so I don't think it's in danger of suffocating.

I would it's not going to hurt him, it's only going to help him, then he can hear the others in case he's have a problem like being upside down.
