DO NOT ATTEMPT to put water down into the bottom of the shell, Just on the outside of the membrane where it's sticking. do this every two hours until the little guy has made progress....


What is his progress right now. Do not try to pull off any membrane that is stuck to his fuzzy fur. You will only Hurt him.. OH GOODNESS, where the hell have I been to miss all this.. **** ME AGAIN....

I got warm water and qtips as soon as I saw no one was online. It had started to pip at 2am, so it just slid out as soon as I got the membrane moist and unstuck. And here we have #3 alive and well, just needs a name.

Chick #2 jeeps bending it's neck around like it was in it' shell. It has a lump on it's head like it crested??? Maybe it is pnenurigical? I gave it baby vitimins hoping it will perk it up. I don't have any crested ducks though? Any ideas. And thank you all for your advice. I kept my nerve knowing you were all there.
