Call Ducks Finally Hatched

I started off with a black one, a bibbed and a grey mallard that got killed last year. Then I purchased butterscotch eggs and added to my small group. That's where all the butterscotch's came from. None of them are from my mixed colored group..

Your confusing me because earlier you said the top one was a butterscotch.

He has butterscotch markings too. If hes from the first picture that i commented on then it was futher away. The gray head, gray wing tips and burgundy on his chest but to me he looks mixed with something else.

I don't know other people's breeding practices. People say a lot of things. Maybe something else was bred into them before she got them. I'm not saying that he's not butterscotch, I didn't breed him or his ancestors, just saying that he looks mixed with something else to me. A butterscotch usually has an all gray head and face and chest is covered in burgundy. The bottom picture looks like a better example of a butterscotch. Maybe the top one just isn't a well marked butterscotch.

Chocolattey??? He doesn't have any brown at all, it's all black green and dark grey. Lol

Oh ok. The picture looks like he could be brown. Must just be the lighting in the picture

I love how golden the wing and chest feathers are on this one in contrast to how dark her head and rump are

I still don't know how the mystery girl/ snowy came out because at the time I had zero whites, only the bibbed. Lol
