I know isn't she so tiny and cute?! LOVE them.


PS, this hatch is going to be a breeze!! Two externally pipped, chattering, and zipping! I safe holed 4 I think that were internally pipped and they are chattering, AND today is day 26 so I think this is GREAT.

I might be able to get ducks for my bday in May n I'm just wondering what kind I should get
-needs to be a good egg layer
- pretty
- quiet
Are girls or boys nicer? Whatever one is than that one
- not so messy my mom will get mad

The Muscovy we had as kids were pretty quiet and the neighbor's pekin are pretty quiet. I've also heard that ancona are on the quieter side. I would think that all 3 would be good egg layers. The Muscovy always were. All ducks are MESSY though in my opinion.

This tells me that you shouldn't have ducks, they are by by nature very messy!
chickens are not as messy and I LOVE mine!
