Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Oh exciting!!!! You know I used to be so impatient for 30 days to come and go but now I think I've figured out a good system. If I set eggs once a week then I have duckies once and week and no impatience just lots of duckies!!! HA.

Hey I forgot to ask you, did you want any of my babies? Not getting any unusual colors yet, just the blue fawns and the possible snowys or whatever the yellow ones are going to be. Black bibbed and then whatever the lighter colored bibbed ones are.

LOL. I'm in the same boat you are on both of the above. Eggs hatching every week (chicks and ducks) lol. Also am looking for a smaller blue fawn male (about the size of the girl you have of mine or smaller), a pair of ancona type calls, a blue magpie female and a pair of butterscotch.

I'm hoping the Dianne will be able to send me some spotted ones with the Australian spotted ones she said she'd send me. I can't wait to hatch out some of these little pied babies to see what they'll look like. My girls are back on their daily laying regimen. Hope they will continue over the weekend so I have some to send to Dianne too. Hope Lori's are all doing well. If you want to buy some eggs I have 7 or 8 that I've collected since the 4th. Keeping the 3 from today and whatever I collect this weekend to send to Dianne on Monday if we do the swap. Or I have I think 7 or 8 due to hatch over the next couple weeks.

My tolbunt eggs went into the incubator yesterday so I'm really hoping for a good hatch from them. This coming week is going to be very busy with hatches I hope. I have about 25-30 chicks due to hatch next week and more over the following 2 weeks. I still have about 70 chicks in the brooders too (and 1 duckie) lol. Have to get busy this weekend on more coops lol

Are you selling the pieds that hatch out or waiting til they are older?

My bator is going to be full of ancona eggs and I'm trying to just keep using the one as a brooder. May have to buy a third bator, haha.

I'm hoping to convince Diane to let me buy the 3 spotted ones she just hatched out :hmm

I'm sending her some eggs too as soon as I know she knows I'm sending them!! The girls are laying up a storm. The older juvies are breeding....so hopefully will start laying in a couple months!!

LOL. Sounds just like me with 2 full bator. I will probably keep 1 pied to see it feather out like I am with the one that hatched a few weeks ago. The others I will be selling.

Oh, and I planned on selling all the ones I hatched from my calls, umm. I think I am up to 4 that I am keeping??!! Lol. So bad.

I get that way too and have to keep telling myself that the remaining spots are for the spotted and the butterscotch. And I remind myself how much I dislike building coops lol

Lol I just keep building more coops. LOL

Okay might buy a duckling or two from you.

I have a friend that bought two pairs of pieds from I think the same person you did!!!! She's got blue magpie calls as well so as soon as her calls get into gear we are going to swap eggs. She's got the Anconas as well!

I do the same for the chickens. But I now have 7 chicken coops & runs and the 1 coop & run for the ducks. I also race cars and have lots of "toys" (jetski, four wheeler, boats, mud buggie, etc) that I have to have room for too. So running out of room to put more coops without putting them in the middle of the yard LOL
