Doesn't make sense, that's an aweful lot of ducks for one preditor plus in a short time....

I'm horrified about those two, I'm still wishful thinking they will be back, I still count my ducks each night hoping I have more then 14, they have been mating something fierce lately that's why I'm hoping miss blabber mouth sassy is just being quite trying to be a mommy..

I really hope so too!!

alright Tammy, off the turner. They are due in four days, one is iffy, one is going to be on time and the last one, already pushing on the membrane, so I think I'm gonna have an early bird, an on timer, and a late one.


Yes, I'm down to three eggs from Tammy. The other two well one busted his yolk, the other one got a blood clot.

Crossing fingers these three make it alright!!

Oh no sorry you lost the two!!! My four from her are still going strong.

Got more in the mail today, going to wait to put them with the 18+ that should get here tomorrow.

Thanks lady me too. I've been having a stroke of good luck. 20 out of 24 Anconas are growing, all my SQ calls were growing, but two quit so down to 4. The four of yours in with the 4 of mine are all going strong.

I'm nervous about the geese eggs. I've never incubated geese eggs before.

Going to trade someone call eggs for pilgrim geese eggs here in a week or two when my bator empties out. So at least the trading and swapping is paying off

My friend Cathy in Live Oak has sebbies. She's offered me goslings when they start hatching. But I honestly don't need anymore. I'm trying to manipulate the spotted gene that comes out when you bred a Toulouse and a pilgrim. This one lady got them to breed true, so I've got "paint" eggs from her.

I could probably grab you some Sebbie goslings if you wanted them though =D

Okay she doesn't have call ducks just the Anconas like me. Don't think she's interested in chickens or anything like that but I'll ask her. Her sebbies are beautiful. Can't remember where she got them.
