Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Is the week up yet????

I have two home made bators, I think I will try those, I think I will also go back and use my first method. Perhaps at certain times of the year method one works and other times method two, never really though of that. Lol

I love my homemade incubator. Works way better than my hovabator or my little giant

I candled mine yesterday and I have 5 developing well :-)
Just to check, what should the humidity be?

I don't run any extra humidity during incubation. I'm in FL and humidity runs high teens to low 30s depending on the day and the rain we've get.

Oh ok. Well that would make a few of them more than 7 days old when they were set so you'll have to let me know how they all do.

Will do! They should be alright I think. Id be worried if they had traveled farther, but such a short distance I think they should still be good :) will keep you updated though!

I've heard up to 14 days but I've never tried it and would be curious to see.

1 of my cochin pullets went broody for the 1st time 2 days ago. She's been sitting tight for the last 2 days. Think I'm going to stick a call egg under her just to see if she hatches it. I stuck 5 of the other bantam hen's eggs under her already lol
