If above is all correct, then check for internal pip. As Diane said, usually you can shine a light and see the beak. You can also hold the egg up to your ear and you should hear a "tapping" sound,
Once you have established that it is internally pipped, wait at least 24 hours or 1 day after due date. So wait until day 27, then you can make a tiny safe hole, you don't want it big, you can use a needle, all it does is stops the ducklings from suffocating.
Then wait another 24 hours after safe holing before intervening anymore.
