Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Haha! He just sent me an email that said that he thinks that I am saying it is his fault but he said it is my (In his words) "Faulty" duck eggs. Well for his information I tested fertility literally the day before and the egg was fertile. I sent him an email that said that each of my eggs was worth at least $5 a piece and that he just costed me 35$. (I don't actually sell them at that's price but I could) I also told him that if my eggs were faulty why have I had 100% fertility and if he didn't believe me to call up the people I gave eggs to!

Even the dead one? It didn't ROT? WOW, he must have some special water that preserves them.. LOL Heat speed will speed up a decomposing body..

FAULTY EGGS? ok I have never heard that one. Lol let me think how could I get a faulty egg hahahahha.

Ok now I need to know; ask him if he checked the wires that are connect to the eggs, perhaps one of them burnt out. HAHAHHA

Omg i better stop!!!

So none of them went bad. Lol ok ask him what kind of special water did he use to preserve them.

There's no way that any of those eggs didn't go bad. No way not with temp of 99. If he had to much water that could explain the one dying off in a week.

The eggs will form on the turner in an upright position but I can't say for how long they will last we will know that answer when it comes close to mine hatching.

I think the guy should really check his Gage's sounds like they are off things go bad and quit working after several uses over time. Incubators don't last forever and parts will adventuraly stop working.

Ask him how the eggs felt with the touch of his hands I'm curious if they were warm or not. If they are in a classroom perhaps it's possible the electric went out over a weekend!

That's what I was thinking with maybe the temp going out. He said that he has two thermometers and both say 99. I don't know how the eggs didn't go bad. Still waiting on pics. I am wondering if maybe his incubator has bacteria in it? He said that he did the exact same thing with wild mallard eggs...... Maybe that one duckling that died early one had a circuit break or something? lol

If he didn't bother to disinfect the bator between then and now (which very well could be the case) there could have been a massive bacterial bloom when the heat and humidity were brought back up for the current batch.

Just...please, please tell me your mom is putting him through the ringer. I hope he's not tenured.

Sadly he is tenured :(. They have actually tried to fire him once because he taught kindergardeners without having a license too. My mom said she is going to talk to him when she gets done with her meetings for the day. I told her to make sure he doesn't leave until I can get their. lol. I am sure my mom is putting him threw the ringer. She once shut down a zales because the manager called her a female dog when she turned her back. She was there because they charged my dad more that they should have for a necklace.
