Call Ducks Finally Hatched

youd be suprised it takes nearly 2 decades to 15 years to get a full 100% breed again once the bloodline is affected. becuase even breeding them back with a mallard allows the offspring to take in more from there grandparents and they might be more call then mallard by a certain decimal precentage.

I know this becuase the vet explained it to me ive never mixed bred anything.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE *pant pant* EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! I am broken. You literally broke my brain with the cuteness. It's a duck yin-yang! I can't take it!! I just wanna snuggle them both forever!
All mallards just seem so huge for me now..... Those big bills and long bodies...... I guess I am a duck snob now?

LOL I feel the same way! I used to think mallards were cute and tiny but now when I go walking with Wobs we come across a flock and they just look like big-nosed giants! :p

To have them DNA tested like that is it really expensive and do the results come back immediately or does it take a while?
it takes awhile and for little babies its about $400 for 25 but its worth it i love them soo much.

I do not support 4-h becuase when i did it i was eight and when i would say i love my animals people were like there just birds, also they did not do true show quality standards, i lost to a mixed breed at a 4-h show when i had true rouens like perfect to a T, i won the regional-state competition with the same bird in the heavy category water fowl class for rouens.

I am sorry for your experience? Did you contact 4h's office about the bad judge? The judges arent always the greatest but when I was in it everone cared for their animals very much. Then again I did cows.......
