What kind of call duckies are you hatching? Like what color? Did you get them from a bycer?

Oh thats fine! We welcome all!Sorry I realize this is a call duck thread, but I thought my question was general enough to ask. Mine aren't call ducks. They are Swedish. From a local gal.
Quote: HAHAH wouldn't that be some crazy kids.
would be awesome though then perhaps it can be trained to guard the flock instead of eat them.no foxes and dogs are of different species while in the same genus naturally they wont mate together.
yes it is possible, when the egg isn't sticky, from below the air cell all you see a dark underneath nothing but black. That's a fully grown baby, with a sticky baby it won't be black, it will be see threw, it's actually a yellow gooy substance. VERY STICKY, if you touch it and stick your fingers together it's almost like super glue. But you will see it underneath the air cell. sometimes you can even see it going down one side all the way to the bottom of the shell, that's a baby with all luck against him..How can you tell if you have a sticky issue before hatch? Is it possible?
DANG that's REALLY high..Just went into lockdown today. Raised it to 75-80. Was around 35 for the majority of the process up until today.
Yes, if you SEE any empty like spaces, below the air cell, you could have a sticky issue. your not going to be able to see the yolk at all so you can't mistake the yolk for sticky gooy stuff. The sticky gooy stuff is see threw, when you candle your eggs should be completely dark, hard to see anything. if theres any spaces, it may be a sticky issue. Its coming down!
My question was about sticky issue. Can you tell if you have an issue before hatch or not???
Ill send you a pic of a sticky issue egg. then you can get the idea of what NOT to look for. LOL..Sorry I realize this is a call duck thread, but I thought my question was general enough to ask. Mine aren't call ducks. They are Swedish. From a local gal.
