Call Ducks Finally Hatched

I could have sworn there was internal pipping for at least one on day 22. Here I am on day 25 though and no external pips. I locked them down on Wednesday morning and they are due tomorrow. Is it okay to candle tomorrow? To see what all is going on? Or is that considered a no no regarding temp and humidity? I'll prob add warm water to the troughs as well (to bump up the humidity, since I last did that early Wednesday). So I'll be opening the incubator and doing those couple of things, unless one of you tells me that it's not a good idea

All of mine are late but you could give them a quick candling i just wouldn't mess with them to much.

They actually have enough air to last 24 hours.

That's what they say but I don't take the chance. Have tried it a couple of times and both times the baby died. 18 hrs usually works for me.

Hi! Sorry to just jump in on the thread but I just put 2 dozen call duck eggs in the bator and was hoping to get any advice to hatching these babies. I have hatched several batches of chickens but never ducks so I'm nervous! I really want these babies to GROW
