Call Ducks Finally Hatched

it might be okay to wait another month since that is when my mallards should be about ready to hatch .

Waiting another month is not the issue in my opinion. If he knew you were wanting on ducklings and told you it would be another month but then decided not to incubate them he should have called. A good breeder also wouldn't mind taking the time to answer questions about his flock

i know , hes my only hope for now i guess. but at first it was "ohh by the end of february there should be some pieds" then called at the end of february
then it was " ohh by next month there should be some pieds and snowys "
now all he said is " Call next month "

that just irritates me

I've never ordered from them but if it happens during shipping that would be the PO, not the hatchery. Call ducklings are more sensitive and finicky then chickens at hatch and that's why most won't ship them

Eh...no, it's definitely Efowl's fault. I've heard way too many stories, not the least of which is someone here who ordered a ru of ducks but they didn't send them out for several days, so they were just sitting in a box, all alone, for several days before finally handing them off to the courier. Most of them were dead on arrival. And of course, Efowl refused to refund the buyer's money and did not offer any condolences or even any interest at all in the loss of life. I've heard of unhealthy birds, dead birds, birds with a myriad of mental and behavioral troubles, it's just a mess. NEVER buy from Efowl. Ever!
