Call Ducks Finally Hatched

No offense at all but just wanted to let you know, the ducks eggs parents arent SQ but might be pet quality or mixes.... here is a pic from the ebay site for lacrstol or any other that want to see

Now that I've looked at it this closely, it looks kinda scabbed too. I would think it would heal on its own, but I want all you experts' opinions!

How about a piece of soft wax? What I worry about is whatever being used getting into the sinus cavity and then causing an infection.

Personally I really won't do anything, but that's a great suggestion. I think if it's a small hole and it sounds like it is, he'll do his sneezing thing in the water that they do and the bobbing thing and keep it clean himself.
 
The *one* time I set shipped eggs I did rest them for 24-48, maybe even 72 hours before setting them.

I had someone in Texas set some eggs from me, for 3 days by accident and he managed to get a decent hatching.. so it's all a preference.. I think the distance as well would help to know
