I know they are still a bit scared of me, but peas always help, I was giving them to them yestartday, and they were coming up and eating them out of my hand !!

Aaaah, they love peas. Sweet little beings.

I know they are so fun to watch, and when they completely freak out randomly because the wind or something changed direction, and they run around quaking in hysterics

Average is between 25 and 75, so 50 eggs a year. Besides, I have been wanting her to go broody! And, I'm so happy that she finally has!

I decide to move my ducklings, out to their by coop, they are still penned in, but have a fenced of area, so they are safe, and there is a net on top so nothing can get in

since this picture, was taken I have put a paddling pool in the pen, and moved the water and food outside,

the ducklings new feathers are starting to grow

My two little ones, Duchess & Duke, are starting to lose their baby fuzz and gain their feathers as well! They are so cute! How old are yours?

Thanks. I'm not 100% sure yet. All 13 of my hens share 3 nests so the babies actually belong to everyone I didn't want to get momma too worked up as they don't like anyone messing with their babies so I didn't look at each one individually. From what I saw there are 2 yellow babies (possible whites), 1 blue pied, 1 gray pied, 1 gray and 3 others that I'm not sure of. Not sure if the last 2 eggs will hatch or not. I will check them for viability tomorrow if they haven't hatched by the time I get home from work.

they are about 4 and a half weeks old, 5 this Saturday! They are growing so quickly!!

I have Perdy's third clutch in the incubator due Monday! And, Perdy has her fourth clutch outside with her that she has been sitting on a week! Perdy has F I N A L L Y gone broody!

At only 8 months old this month, having laid me 40 eggs (oh and if I might add 38 have been perfect and fertile, including her very first ever laid) and now going broody - I couldn't be happier with my pretty girl! She's wonderful

Not only is she pretty and wonderful, AmandaVirginia, she's extremely cute.
