His neck is still crooked and he's not eating on his own yet, but he's alert. You're welcome. How is he doing today?
Oh Lacrystol. That's an ordeal. How do you keep it all together? Sad he didn't make it.I'm down to 11 Eggs, I tried to experiment on one of the absolute worst eggs, that I knew for SURE there's no way it would make it. And apparently my experiment did not work, It survived up to 6 hours before it past. this one had LOTS of empty spacing, I would say about 90% of the egg was space.
I thought for sure it was already dead before I opened it and of course, it was NOT. So I sprayed it pretty good with some disinfecting water, the gooy sticky stuff, just poured out like a water faucet, and I MEAN TONs, so I was able to loosen it up.
But needless to say, his bill and face was buried in the yolk, I don't think he was actually able to get his head up, I believe it was Stuck in or on the yolk, I believe the gooy stuff, kept his head there and he ended up sufficiating, I don't believe I was the cause of death, I believe he was in a position that he just couldn't get it out to be able to breath some air..... All's I did was basically give him a 6 hour chance... Perhaps if I was able to spray his body and head, this would have loosened that stuff up and he would be able to pull his head up, I don't know because by doing that, I risked, spraying him to where he would drown.. Then I would definitely be the cause of death. I don't know how I would be able to deal with that...
That is great regarding his alertness. Is he being tube fed? Poor little guy. I so hope he can get to eating on his own. It is wonderful how you are helping him.His neck is still crooked and he's not eating on his own yet, but he's alert.
