@TwoCrows how old do my quail chicks need to be before putting them in with my adults, and is the integration process the same as with chickens?

With Coturnix quail, you can mix chicks in when they are 7 to 8 weeks old.

And yes its just like mixing chickens....intro from a cage, within the flock, new birds caged for 2 or 3 weeks so everybody gets to know each other from behind wire for a few weeks. Make SURE to give them plenty of room, at least 2 square feet or more per bird, add more food and water stations until young birds are thoroughly excepted into the flock. Good luck! :)

Zipped 3/4 of the way and was face down when I picked him up. There was membrane over his nostrils and a foot over his head. I think he got stuck and tired on top of all of it.
No more eggs until next year. I’ll pack away the incubator and see how I feel about it next year.
That just sucks eh?..Better luck next season...
