How often do you like to incubate eggs?

As often as my Ducks lay them. I start collecting more about two weeks before the ones in the incubator are due and keep going till I decide to let the Hens hatch out and finish laying..

Yes..I'll keep the ones the Hens hatch out till sexable and a few I think are worth keeping. I sell everything most times. I just contacted people on my waiting list to let them know I'm starting again..I sell them for $20 a Duckling.

I don't think even call ducklings go for that much in this area.
I would consider incubating, but I am weak when it comes to animals - not sure I could part with all of them.

...I understand until you look at as a breeding business. I sure enjoy them all and hope for happy placement.. They pay for my horse feed and other projects.

Also here Calls are not that popular. More meat Ducks in my area. Why I sold out of Appleyard..people have come as far as Calgary to buy my Calls..And from up north too.
My friend that's coming is two hours away..

Now to get setting and in 10 or less days I'll know how many viable eggs I'm dealing with...

This is why we went from all the ones we had down to the Orpingtons and Ameracaunas, why I'm keeping the EE's, getting my bloodline of bantams back, and why I want Russian Orloffs. Four-five breeds that sell well in our parts. Plus the pheasants and some ducks. Want to start a flock of Ringnecks to be able to breed and sell to the hunt clubs.
