She was 13 and her heart was bad because of bad teeth...I spent over 500 to save her and we found out it was only time so I kept her happy till I had to rush her in to be be put down and it still breaks my heart. She was the best. My oldest sons first Dog..Got Her for him when he was 6 all boys need a Dog...
That was a pretty good age. I now realize how important dentals are for dogs and do them regularly. 2 of mine get them in July. The old dog has been invigorated by yearly cleanings. I thought she was a goner, but is suddenly young and happy again with cleaned teeth.
Mutsy will be 16 and zero dental and can chew bones with the young dogs...lol..It's important definitely but not Mutsy I guess..
That's terrible. I never keep collars on my dogs anymore. Not since that stray came through with his foot hung up in his collar. He just kept running and I never knew what happened to him. Collars are dangerous. One of my dogs also got their jaw caught on another ones collar when playing. No more collars unless there's a leash attached to it, and I'm holding it.
