Done it was originally a receded fire place but it was extremely drafty and the chimney had a bad seal against the house. I removed the fire place patched the hole where the chimney use to come thru then insulated and wired the room. Just got to floor it now.

I think it would be a good idea to put up some pieces of plywood as wind breaks for the chickens, ducks, & guineas.

Alright, thanks Aryeh... I’ll let the tarps down too at night. During the day it’s in the 60’s so I know they’ll be fine then.

My Husband is working today so the pen won't get moved yet again
Weather is going to get cooler but not brutal so hopefully he gets it moved by the weekend...

Oh! Y’all, guess what?? I got a CALL egg today! Can’t believe I forgot.

It HAS to be theirs as it was in their pen before I let any birds out.

That's why i'd like to downsize my cows and replace them with some mini jerseys. They still eat tuns but a lot less than full-size jerseys.

Found a doe on craigslist for only $250. She's ADGA registered and has been exposed to a blue eyed polled buck, So there's a big possibility that she could be settled, wont know for sure though for a couple more days. Is she doesn't come back to heat this week then she's pregnant.. What do you think?
