I asked @TwoCrows to move this thread so we all can talk animals...Not just Calls..Lets get yapping.
Yapping I shall... My incubator just came in! :celebrate
I've got it working right now and have it at 37.5C... I have a meat thermometer in there so see what the incubator's reading is right... So now I have a few options....
I could incubate the following but I don't know what I should do first

#1 1 dozen EEs, 1 dozen Barred rocks, and 1 dozen Serama eggs

#2 2 dozen call ducks, 6 khakis, and 6 duck mixes

#3 2 dozen turkey eggs

#4 2 dozen Guinea eggs

Which one should I go for first? So many choices! :barnie

I'm stuck between #1 and #2... and hatching guinea keets is very tempting for me.. I might do both #1 and #4 but at the same time I reeeaally want some ducklings.... If my calls don't start laying by January the 25th i'll set the guineas and chickens together.

I have never incubated Chicks...Mommas do it for me..Chicks do way better raised by a Hen..

Agreed.. But I doubt i'll have any broodies in January unless one of my bantams step up.
Maybe I could try some guineas, seramas, and calls... Though I think they all need different humidity temps.. I'ma check real' quick
