Pure bred Ameraucanas are readily available in almost all the recognized APA/ABA color standards. So what reason or purpose would there be to justify indiscrimately crossing the colors. Only have one coop then go (Wheaten, blue Wheaten and splash wheaten), or go (silver and blue silver and if any one has them splash silver), or go (black, common laced blue and splash), or (black and project Lavender) if you want color. Or just go one solid color only. Now there are the experiment breeders trying to get a new colors recognized but they have to produce so many culls(which are considered EE) to get to their end results. These birds should go to the auctions so they end up in a backyard breeders coop or the slaughter plants. I raised other animals and there are always the breeder that wants to experiment but really don't know what they are doing and end up with all culls in that type of animal. They want to see what they will get and you can not even be reason with them so you just have to let them go and waist their money and time. Good luck everyone. HS
