Calling all Crazy Cat People I need help!!

My sister has a doggie door in the laundry room into the garage. The doggie door opens near the wall, under a work table that is fenced in so the cat just has space there for the cat box and turning around. It keeps the smells well out of the house, and the cat from mischief in the garage. I think they used a child gate across the front. My laundry room isn't next to a corner of the garage so I couldn't set it up like that.

good luck

There are these odor absorber crystal bags you can hang by the catbox. Also, my daughter puts baking soda into the litter for her cats.

there is something that you can get to spray on their food that will eliminate poop odor. i think it is called odoban or something like that.
i have used it before but that was 9 years ago. we had 6 cats in a small house. 3 cats were rescues. i hope this helps.

Friends of mine kept their litter boxes in their utility room and installed a bathroom exhaust fan vented to the outside that they ran all the time. They had a cat door into the utility room. They had 7 inside cats at the time and you would never have known it if you didn't see the cats. No odors at all.

I would love for my cats to do this. Unfortunately my male is "special" He runs into trees! I'm sure he would fall in and drown on the first try.

We feed Nutro Adult Indoor. Were feeding the Senior Indoor but we added a cat that is just a year old to a house or Sr.Citizens. (2-17's and a 12)

We cut off the Greenie treats because they made one cat sick. They only get tuna on Friday evenings as a treat.

My friend is super sensitive to smells like you so she bought some crystals litter. She says it works really well, and she can't smell anything. I'm going to try it when my current box runs out and I'll post how it goes.
