I think they'll be fine when they smell their stuff in the new place. I would definitely keep the cat inside for a while, especially until you know what predators are at the new place. With a bigger house it should take her a while to get bored.

We have two dogs; Noodles and Niko.
We adopted Noodles when he was 6 months old. We were told he’s a terrier mix, but we’d love to know the actual breeds he has in him. Maybe we’ll invest in a dna test one day just because I’m that curious. I don’t know if any of you remember this movie, but we think he looks just like Benji.

Next is Niko! We rescued him from death row. He was going to be euthanized because he had heartworm and they had too many dogs. Luckily, heartworm is very treatable, and he’s now heartworm free!!!! We believe he’s a chihuahua min pin mix or maybe rat terrier.

Noodles looks a bit like a Lhasa Apso mix we had when I was a kid. Fearless little dogs, lots of personality.
We’ve thought of that too! We also think that he looks a little like a dandie dinmont terrier with the way he has coarser hair on his body but then fluffy and soft curls on his head.
Look for books/Videos by Dr. Sophia Yin for a good start in training. However, dog training is very situational and it is best to get feedback from someone that can see you and the dog interact. I highly recommend a quality puppy class to get started.Hi.
Any training tips? And how do I help my other dog adjust to him? I will explain more once this thread is up and running.
A few Questions:
What is your dogs name?
What breed?
Do you have dogs?
Do you breed?
Do you show?

Hi.
For those of you who own Dogs out there. This is the thread for you. Sorta like my other thread horse club. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only dog owner out there.
We got a new puppy 6 days ago. His name is Wilbur. He is a blue Great Dane and super cute. Any training tips? And how do I help my other dog adjust to him? I will explain more once this thread is up and running.
