My grandmother was a first generation Irish born here. She was a Navin. Her Mothers was Scannel.
My cousin is an Irish dancer in New Hampshire.

I'm not sure if there is Irish lineage in there, but I know we are scottish. Surname is Spaulding. I do remember my grandfather's kilt, and coat of arms. He didn't talk much about his family, but when he did we listened intently

He even told us about some family curse. All the males must have a certain middle name.

My DH is Irish and German. His grandmother went from Ireland to Canada to Michigan. She sounded like a woman I would have loved to have met.
