I totally agree with starting out with more eggs because you know by day 7 or so there are going to be some that don't grow. I was totally scared to stack them because of the extreme tilt of the egg turner. I will definately try this on my next hatch and the wax paper will really help fill in gaps. Yeah Thanks for posting that picture!

I put 30 eggs in my brinsea on my last hatch - I lived dangerously and didn't even use rails. Just kinda stacked em next to each other and put eggs in where I could. I used one of the foam divider pieces to fill any large gaps. Had a great hatch and none broke, which amazed me.

I ordered the Brinsea Eco 20 without the egg turner yesterday. They say it will be sometime by the end of January before I can get it!! But to save about $35 bucks, I guess I can wait for the shipment.

I think we should only make one thread for all the different dates that we're hatching, and it should be made by CDennis... it was her idea, anyway.

Brinsea Feb 1st Hatch
Brinsea March 1st Hatch.

That's why I just put "January Hatch-a-long"... so it didn't necessarily have to be on a certain day.
