Calling All New Brinsea Owners!!! February Hatch-a-long... PRIZES!!!

day 1 passed without problems....*phew*

we're now onto day2....19 days to go!!!!

I put 8 eggs last night ... but added 2 more this morning, after I had a scare of a stray dog almost getting into my chickens.
I hope it's OK. They are 12 hours apart, but the new ones were freshly laid and still warm.

8 green eggs and 2 pink from my EE girls.

My temps are slightly below a hundred - can't read it precisely since my thermometers are not digital.
And humidity at 40 - had the hygrometer calibrated last night.

Can't wait for the time when I can candle them.

I have Brinsea 20 Eco incubator so it's still half empty, I will try to resist putting any more.

AHHH....I see. I was thinking you got the mini eco! That makes much more sense!

so far so good. Tomorrow I go into lockdown and the chickies should hatch around the 2nd or 3rd of February. May have 1 hatch around the 4th as it was added 2 days after the rest.

I need to get a new memory card for my camera so I can take pictures.

My Eco 20 goes into lockdown on Monday night.......can't wait!!!!

My Mini advance is humming along on day 3.......I can't WAIT!!!!!

I wish I had 20 incubtors!

Brinsea Mini Advance will arrive Monday, 7 eggs should arrive Wednesday. This will be my first attempt. Good Luck to everyone for a great hatch and healthy chicks

Mine are so far doing well too. The coturnix are due on the 11th and the Lav Am and the BLRW are due on the 18th. No point in candling the coturnix, you can see anything through those shells but I'm dying to candle the chicken eggs on Tuesday!
