Calling All New Brinsea Owners!!! January Hatch-a-long...

I using the Eco 20, but have been keeping only one well full, and the hygrometer reads around 27-30 %. My hygrometer was off by 12 when i calibrated it, making the true humidity 39- 42%. Isn't that in the recommended range for the first 18 days?

These are due on Sat/Sunday this week. I set them on Christmas, the same day that I got the incubator AND eggs as a gift! Best Christmas ever -- IMO!

OK, what's with the fish?

Yeahhhhhh!!! Somebody sees me!!!!!!!!!!

The fish is actually some kind of toy called a "water wiggler" and people here use it to put the thermometer probe into it to get a temp that replicates the temp inside the egg, but more importantly, it keeps the very sensative thermometer from constantly changing with the micro tem changes that seem inevitable with a sensative thermometer....it gives you an average reading.

Does that make sense?

Yes, it does. Thanks. Why are you selling the brinsea?
